GTF Tree Care has over 20 years experience in site maintenance, from private blocks of flats to super market grounds and industrial sites. Our maintenance programmes include grass cutting, weed control, hedge trimming, litter picking and road sweeping. We appreciate that our clients’ requirements will differ, therefore we are able to design individual programmes suited to your needs and requirements. We can do this on a ‘one off’ service or under contract.
24hr Emergency Service
In the event of an emergency situation related to your trees, GTF Tree Care’s knowledgeable arborists are available to help you when you need it most. We provide 24-hour emergency services for hazardous and storm-damaged trees that have failed and resulted in damage to your property or have blocked roads.
Our extensive resources allow us to mobilise crews and equipment quickly and professionally to your emergency. During an emergency, GTF Tree Caret takes the appropriate time to assess the situation and recommend the best course of action. Once emergency services are complete, we will then begin the process of clear up and waste disposal.
When performed correctly, mulching is one of the most simple and effective practices to maintain plant health, improve growth, and enhance vitality. Mulches provide many benefits including:
- Eliminating competition between tree roots and grass or other ground covering plants
- Eliminating the potential of damage to stems by mowers and strimmers
- Conserving soil moisture
- Moderating soil temperature
- Suppressing weed growth
- Improving soil organic matter
- Soil fertilisation
- Suppressing soil borne diseases
Organic mulches composed of wood chips, bark, leaves and compost are all suitable mulches for woody and herbaceous landscape plants. Ideally, mulch should be applied beneath the entire canopy, although smaller mulched areas are suitable. Mulch depth should not exceed ten centimetres.
